Wembley: Murder investigation launched

A MURDER investigation is underway after a dead body was discovered in Wembley on this morning [Tuesday, July 20] morning, writes Kate Ferguson.

Police were called to a business premises in Fourth Way, Wembley Trading Estate, near the national stadium, to reports of a dead body found.

The body was of a man in his late 40s.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man has not yet been identified, and officers are trying to trace his next of kin.

A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place at Northwick Park hospital tomorrow (21).

Officers from the Metropolitan Police Service Homicide and Serious Crime Command are investigating.

No arrests have been made.
